Fall Symposium

September 25 & 26, 2008

  San Francisco, CA

Spring Symposium
2009

Washington, DC

The purpose of the Fall Symposium is to bring leaders from the Academy and industry executives together to share mutual concerns and needs, and monitor trends and issues effecting eye care. The Fall Symposium offers formal and informal opportunities to exchange information and ideas between the leaders of ophthalmology.

The Spring Symposium is a biennel event which focuses on reimbursement, FDA Ophthalmic Drug & Device policies, and changes within CMS.  Industry representatives that typically attend focus within these areas.  This is approximately a half day symposium; unlike the Fall Symposium the Academy leaders do not attend this meeting.
